October 1 was the annual celebration of the Protection of the Virgin Mary–our parish feast day. His Grace, our Bishop Paul drove down from Chicago to celebrate the festal services with us on Monday night and Tuesday morning. Both services were followed by fellowship meals. The following Sunday, October 6, we celebrated our parish’s 108th anniversary with a plated dinner after the Divine Liturgy. Thank you to all who pitched in to make our feast-day celebration beautiful and delicious!
