The Protection of the Virgin Mary (PTVM) Orthodox Church Choir’s ministry is to lead the congregation in prayer and worship. Music beautifies the services and uplifts the soul. Choir members sing hymns under the direction of the Choir leader during liturgical services, including Divine Liturgy, Vespers, weddings, and funerals.
Those interested in singing in the choir need to get Father’s blessing before serving, and should then discuss joining the choir with the Choir director.
